You are going to visit the most beautiful two temples in Egypt. Temple of Seti I (Abydos temple) which is located 180 km to the north of Luxor, was considered as the pilgrimage destination for ancient Egyptians. The temple was dedicated to seven gods, one of them is Seti I himself.
Dendara temple is the best-preserved temple in Egypt(commonly known as Cleopatra`s temple). One of the highlights of the temple is the astronomical ceiling and the zodiac.
Our guide will pick you up around 06:00 AM from your hotel and start driving to Abydos through the agriculture road and you are going to see the farmer`s life and houses on the way to Abydos. The journey to arrive at the temple takes approximately 3 hours.
After arriving at Abydos temple, our guide will explain to you the history of the temple and it`s one of the most important spiritual temples in Egypt and the ancient Egyptians used to do a pilgrimage to this temple and until now many people think that this temple has spiritual energy and power.
Enjoy the very well-preserved colours on the limestone walls of the seven centuries of the temple.
After finishing the visit to Abydos, you will drive back towards Luxor and stop at Dendara which is halfway back to Luxor.
The temple is dedicated to the goddess Hathor, the Goddess of life and motherhood. And lots of people used to go to this temple for fertility and to be pregnant.
Also, the temple is famous for its zodiac and astronomical ceiling which proves that the pharaohs they work with these signs a long time before the Greeks.
Then, drive back to Luxor and you will be transferred back to your hotel.
