Travel back to time by visiting the Citadel built-in 1183 by sultan Salah El-Dine in order to defend the city against the army of the Crusaders. This fortress used to be the residence of Egyptian rulers for 700 years, nowadays it hosts many mosques and museums.
Finish your day by strolling along El Moez street and admire the medieval buildings, madrassas (Koran schools), mosques, and traditional houses.
Here ends your tour in Cairo, you will be transferred to Cairo train station to travel to Aswan. The trip takes about 12 hours.
Your tour guide will pick you up from the train station in Aswan to take you to the first step of your trip, Philae temple, one of the most important sites of Nubia and was a centre of the cult of Isis. Enjoy a motorboat ride to reach this temple which is located on Agilika Island.
Leave Agilika Island and get to the High Dam. Built across the Nile, the Hight Dam allows Egyptians to enjoy permanent agriculture instead of depending on the seasons. The construction of the dam threatened a lot of houses and tourist sites.

After your breakfast, you will be driven to visit God Sobek temple in Kom Ombo with your Egyptologist guide. Then drive to Edfu in order to visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Horus, Osiris’ vengeful son, in Edfu
After this tour to Kom Ombo and Edfu, you will be driven to Luxor where you will join your hotel overnight.

The external architecture matches perfectly with the refined cliff, the building seems to have been sculpted into the rock. Reach now the last step of your day, the Colossi of Memnon. Massive, proudly standing, and the gaze fixed toward the Nile, the two colossi of Memnon were the guardians of the vast and sumptuous Amenhotep Temple.
