Itinerary
Day 1 : From Luxor to Al-Khargah (overnight Al-Khargah)
Your day begins at 7:00 am when our driver picks you up for an unforgettable journey to the Western Desert and Oasis. Around 9:00 am, you'll board a 4x4 Safari vehicle to embark on your exploration of Al-Dakhla and Al-Kharga Oasis.
We'll commence our tour with a visit to Al-Kharga Oasis, where we'll enjoy lunch before continuing to the El-Bagawat Necropolis. This ancient cemetery, constructed from mud-brick, features over 260 tombs resembling small churches dating back to the Christian era. Following our visit to El-Bagawat, we'll explore the Temple of Hibis, the largest and most impressive temple built during Egypt's 200-year period under Persian rule. Our day concludes with a visit to Ein Om AlLabkha, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 : AlDakhla ( overnight Eco Lodge)
Our adventure continues with an early rise and a journey to Al-Dakhla Oasis. We'll begin by exploring the Bashandi Archeological Site, a village celebrated for its traditional crafts.
Here, we'll witness the artistry of local carpets, rugs, baskets, wooden creations, and embroidery, reflecting the vibrant life of the oasis.
Next, we'll visit the Balat El-Faraoneya Tombs, a collection of five Mastaba-styled tombs dating back to the Fourth Dynasty.
Our exploration then takes us to El-Qasr, a small village in Dakhla Oasis, captivatingly preserved in its ancient state. Following this, we'll venture to the Tombs of El-Mezauaka, aptly named "The Ornamented" due to their vibrant multi-colored reliefs dating to the days of the Roman era.
Our itinerary concludes with a visit to the village of Mut, an ancient settlement and the former capital of El Dakhla Oasis. Its name, intriguingly, originates from the ancient Egyptian goddess Mut. As our second day comes to a close, we'll settle into an Eco Lodge for the night, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Day 3 : Al-Dakhlah to Luxor
Rise early, enjoy breakfast, and then begin your drive back to Luxor. You'll depart with a treasure trove of magical memories and stories from the desert.
