Itinerary

Day 1 : Cairo airport-Pyramids-Saqqara-Museum-Khan el Khalili

Your Egyptian adventure begins upon arrival in Cairo. A comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle will whisk you away from the international airport to embark on a captivating day tour.

First, you'll witness the grandeur of the ancient kingdom on the Giza Plateau. Your private tour starts with an exploration of the last remaining wonder of the ancient world – the Pyramids of Giza. You'll marvel at the majestic structures of Cheops, Mykerinus, and Chephren.

Our expert Egyptologist will guide you through the history of these miraculous edifices, unveiling the mysteries surrounding their construction. From the plateau, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the pyramids rising from the golden sands of Giza, a perfect photo opportunity.

Next, you'll encounter the enigmatic Sphinx, the 3,000-year-old Great Sphinx, before moving on to the Pyramid of Saqqara, also known as the Pyramid of Djoser.

Saqqara is the sprawling necropolis of ancient Memphis, where King Djoser constructed his tomb over 4,000 years ago. This tomb marked the first time in history that the pyramidal shape was used for a burial structure, a pioneering innovation.

Later, you'll be taken to the Egyptian Museum, which houses thousands of artifacts and ancient pieces, including the splendid treasures of King Tutankhamun. After returning to your hotel for the night, you'll have the chance to wander through the vibrant streets of Khan El Khalili.

This bustling souk, dating back to the 14th century, remains a popular destination for locals seeking gold, spices, soap, and handcrafted souvenirs.

Your guide will then escort you back to your hotel for check-in and a restful night.

Day 2: Flight to Luxor- Highlights East and West Bank

Your day begins with a morning pickup, transferring you to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Luxor.

Upon arrival, a guide and air-conditioned vehicle await, ready to whisk you away on a captivating tour of Luxor's highlights, spanning both sides of the valley.

Your guide will meet you at your hotel at 8:00 AM to commence this memorable journey. You'll cross the Nile via Luxor Bridge, savoring breathtaking views of agricultural lands, quaint villages, and majestic mountains.

The first stop takes you to the awe-inspiring Valley of the Kings, where you'll explore the well-preserved tombs of powerful New Kingdom rulers, including the mighty Ramses II and the enigmatic child king Tut Ankh Amon.

Next, you'll marvel at the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a testament to her remarkable reign as the only female pharaoh of ancient Egypt during the 18th Dynasty.

Continuing on, you'll visit the two colossal temples on the eastern bank of the Nile. The first is the grand Karnak Temple Complex, a sacred site dedicated to the Theban Triad, encompassing the deities Amon, his consort Mut, and their son Khunso.

Finally, you'll experience the magic of Luxor Temple, best enjoyed during sunset. While other temples close their doors earlier, Luxor Temple remains open later, allowing you to witness its architectural splendor bathed in the warm glow of twilight.

After this captivating journey, you'll be transferred back to your hotel for check-in and a well-deserved night's rest.

Day 3: Travel to Aswan / Aswan Highlights

Our guide will meet you early in the morning and escort you on a four-hour drive from Luxor to Aswan. Once in Aswan, you'll embark on a tour of its highlights, starting with the Temple of Isis on Philae Island.

Following your visit to the temple, you'll explore the High Dam. Finally, you'll conclude your tour with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk. After your sightseeing, you'll check into your hotel in Aswan for an overnight stay.

Day 4 : Abu Simbel / Flight back to Cairo

Your day begins at 5:00 am with a rendezvous with your tour guide, who will accompany you on a journey to Abu Simbel. Here, you'll witness the awe-inspiring temples dedicated to King Ramses II and his beloved wife, Nefertari.

These temples, originally nestled on the western shore of Lake Nasser, faced a precarious fate. Once situated in a lower area, they were gradually buried by shifting sands and threatened by the rising waters of the Nile. To preserve these ancient treasures, a monumental task was undertaken: in 1968, the temples were carefully disassembled, relocated to higher ground, and meticulously reassembled. This feat of engineering ensured the survival of these architectural marvels, which stand as testaments to the grandeur of Ramesses II's building program across Egypt and Nubia.

Nubia held immense value for the Egyptians, renowned for its gold and other precious resources. Recognizing its strategic importance, Pharaoh Ramesses II erected these two magnificent temples as a symbol of his dominion over the Nubian people.

With your knowledgeable Egyptologist guide, you'll delve into the rich history of this site and uncover the legacy of the great Pharaoh who commissioned these architectural masterpieces. Ample time will be provided for capturing unforgettable photographs.

Following your exploration of Abu Simbel, you'll be transported back to Aswan, where a delicious lunch awaits. Afterward, embark on a serene one-hour felucca ride around the enchanting island of Aswan, breathing in the refreshing air of the Nile River.

As your extraordinary adventure draws to a close, your tour guide will escort you to Aswan airport for your flight back to Cairo. This concludes your journey, filled with memories and profound insights into the wonders of ancient Egypt.
