Itinerary
Day 1: From Cairo - Baharyah Oasis ( overnight Eco Lodge)
Your day begins at 7:00 am when our driver picks you up to embark on your unforgettable journey to the White Desert and Bahariya Oasis. After a scenic drive, you'll arrive at Bahariya Oasis around 9:00 am, where your 4x4 safari adventure will commence.
Enjoy a delicious lunch upon arrival before exploring the fascinating sights of the oasis, including the impressive English Mountain, the enigmatic Pyramids Mountain, and the breathtaking sand dunes.
As evening descends, you'll savor a delightful dinner and spend a comfortable night at the Eco Lodge hotel.
Day 2 : The white Desert (Overnight Camp)
Our second day begins bright and early with a visit to the museum after breakfast. The afternoon is yours to enjoy lunch, a refreshing swim in the natural springs, and some relaxation. Later, we embark on an adventure to the White Desert, where we'll visit the captivating Crystal Mountain, the enigmatic Black Desert, and the charming El Haiz village.
The desert's main attractions await, starting with the majestic sand dunes, where you'll have the opportunity to capture breathtaking photos from atop one of these towering formations. We'll then journey to the Black Desert, where a striking sandy mountain, adorned with black stones and minerals, awaits. After a restful lunch and some time to unwind in El Haiz village, where you can purchase unique Bedouin handicrafts, we'll set off for the Crystal Mountain around 2:30 pm.
Our adventure culminates with a serene cruise through the White Desert. As the sun dips below the horizon, a traditional Bedouin BBQ dinner will be served under a canopy of twinkling stars, where you'll spend a magical night in the heart of the desert.
Day 3: Al Farafra - Al Dakhla
Our day begins with an early rise and breakfast, setting the stage for our exciting journey to Al-Farafra and Al-Dakhla. Our first stop in Al-Farafra was the enchanting Magic Spring, known as Ain al-Serw in Arabic. This palm-shaded oasis, with its three inviting pools, offered a refreshing respite in the heart of the desert.
After lunch, we'll delve into the wonders of the oasis, visiting Badr's Museum to gain a deeper understanding of the region's history. Our afternoon will take us to Al-Dakhla Oasis, where we will explore El-Qasr, a captivating village that has remained largely unchanged since antiquity.
We then journey to the Tombs of El-Mezauaka, also known as "The Ornamented" due to their vibrant multi-colored reliefs. These ancient tombs, dating back to the Roman period, provided a fascinating glimpse into the past. As the sun starts descending, marking the end of our second day, we'll settle into the comfort of our Eco Lodge, enjoy a delicious dinner, and prepare for the adventures that await us tomorrow.
Day 4: Al Khargah
Our day begins with an early rise and breakfast, setting the stage for our journey to Al-khargah. Our first stop will be the Bashandi Archeological Site, where we'll delve into the rich history of the area.
The village is famous for its craftsmanship, showcasing the unique artistry of the oasis in its carpets, rugs, baskets, wood carvings, and intricate embroidery. Following this cultural immersion, we'll head to the Balat El-Faraoneya Tombs.
These five Mastaba-styled tombs, dating back to the Fourth Dynasty, offer a glimpse into the ancient past. After lunch, we'll continue our exploration of Al Kharga, making a visit to Qasr al-Zayan. This ancient temple, dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, was built during the Greek period.
After lunch, we'll journey to Qasr al Labakha, a well-preserved Roman settlement. The ruins include a fortified structure, two temples, and an extensive necropolis. After a full day of exploration, we'll settle in for a night under the stars.
Day 5: Cairo
Our day begins with an early rise and a hearty breakfast, setting the stage for our journey to our first stop which is the fascinating Bashandi Archeological Site.
After lunch, we'll head to Luxor, ending our trip.
