Itinerary
Following breakfast, we'll head to Cairo from Alexandria, starting with the Great Pyramids of Giza, the majestic work of 3 great Pharaohs: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure that testify to royal perfectionism & artistry and bring the history to life in front of your eyes.
Also, at the Giza plateau, you’ll meet the mighty Sphinx, an architectural beauty of limestone 3,000 years old of a mythical creature that represents the greatness of ancient Egypt architecture.
Next, immerse yourself in the treasures of the "Egyptian Museum," constructed in 1902, housing an extensive collection of artifacts and relics from the ancient Egyptian and Greco-Roman periods, including the captivating collection of the young Pharaoh Tut Ankh Amon.
Continuing our cultural journey, we'll visit the "Salah el din Citadel and Mohamed Ali Mosque." Built in the 12th century as a defensive stronghold against the Crusaders, this citadel served as the seat of power for numerous dynasties, including the Ayyubids, Mamluks, and even the Ottomans.
Following the Citadel, we'll delve into the vibrant atmosphere of Khan El Khalili, a bustling souk dating back to the 14th century. Still a favored destination for locals seeking gold, spices, and handcrafted souvenirs, this marketplace offers a treasure trove of unique finds. Should you require a specific item, a friendly merchant will gladly guide you to the right vendor. If you're searching for the perfect souvenir, Khan El Khalili is the ideal destination.
Upon completing the tour, we'll ensure a comfortable return to your hotel in Alexandria, ending your day with cherished memories.
