Day 3: Luxor West Bank Tour Part 2
Your guide will take you up from your accommodation at 8:00 am the next day so you can start your adventure. Cross the Nile via Luxor Bridge, enjoying the agricultural lands, small villages, and scenic mountain views.
The majestic Ramesseum temple, the memorial temple of the famous King Ramses II, also known as Ramses the Great, is where you should start. Here, you will find the remains of the colossus of King Ramses II, the largest granite statue ever crafted to such a high standard.
Next, you will visit Dier El Madina, the worker's village where artists, craftsmen, and workers who built and decorated the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings resided.
Then, visit the Tombs of the Nobles, the burial place of powerful courtiers of the ancient city, including high-ranking government officials, scribes, and powerful priests. These tombs offer invaluable insights into everyday life and funerary customs of the time.
Your tour concludes with a visit to the Valley of the Queens, known as "the place of beauty" in ancient times. The royal wives and princesses of Egypt's New Kingdom are buried here.
You will be driven back to your hotel following the trip.
