Enjoy a trip along the Nile valley to discover Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor highlights.
Start your journey with Cairo, which holds the fingerprint of many ages like ancient Egyptian and Middle Ages eras. You'll visit different attractions such as the Pyramids of Giza and the step pyramid in Saqqara, the Egyptian Museum that incubates tens of thousands of antiques and artifacts. Later, you'll walk your legs at El Moez and Khan El Khalili streets which still exist since hundreds of years and date back to the Middle Ages. And to cover Cairo the way it should be, we'll take you to Islamic and Coptic Cairo to meet both historical mosques and churches.
Travel to Aswan and make the most of this city with an excursion to Philae Temple and the High Dam.
Board a traditional Felucca boat and start one of the most unique adventures. Sail to Kom Ombo and enjoy the scenery and the landscapes that surround you.
Next, you'll visit the temples of both Edfu and Kom Ombo along the way. As you arrive at the magnificent Luxor, the ancient Thebe, and enter its splendid temples that reside on both sides: the East Bank and the West Bank like the Mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, Karnak Temple, and the Valley of the Kings.

Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Egypt
Magic Carpet's representative will meet you at Cairo International Airport and accompany you to your hotel overnight. The representative will assist you with the check-in procedure.
Day 2: Pyramids at Giza & Saqqara
Start your private tour with Magic Carpet Travel by discovering the last remaining ancient wonder of the world, the Pyramids of Giza, the majestic work of 3 great Pharaohs: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure that testify to royal perfectionism & artistry and bring the history to life in front of your eyes.
Also, at the Giza plateau, you’ll meet the mighty Sphinx, an architectural beauty of limestone 3,000 years old of a mythical creature that represents the greatness of ancient Egypt architecture.
Finally, you'll be taken back to the hotel.
Day 3: Egyptian Museum, Salah El din citadel, The Hanging Church, then take Train to Aswan
Reach now the second tour in Cairo of your journey, visiting the great Egyptian Museum in Cairo which contains the most beautiful artifacts of Ancient Egypt, royal mummies, and the amazing treasure of King Tutankhamun.
Travel back in time by visiting the Citadel built in 1183 by Sultan Salah El-Dine in order to defend the city against the army of the Crusaders. This fortress used to be the residence of Egyptian rulers for 700 years, nowadays it hosts many mosques and museums.
Finish your day by strolling along El Moez and Khan El Khalili Streets and admire the medieval buildings, madrassas (Quran schools), mosques, and traditional houses.
Here ends your tour in Cairo, you will be transferred to Cairo train station to travel to Aswan. The trip takes about 12 hours.
Day 4: Arrive Aswan/ Visit the Highlights
We'll pick you up at the train station and head to Philae Temple, which is dedicated to the goddess Isis and consists of many pylons, structures, courtyards, and sanctuaries. The temple is a mixture of Greco-Roman and Egyptian and to save it from being drowned, the temple was cut into 40,000 pieces and moved to its current location on Agilkia Island.
Leave Agilika Island and get to the High Dam. Built across the Nile, the Hight Dam allows Egyptians to enjoy permanent agriculture instead of depending on the seasons. The construction of the dam threatened a lot of houses and tourist sites. You will be escorted by vehicle to check in your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 5: Check in Felucca
At 12:00 pm, your guide will accompany you to check in your Felucca sailing boat for an amazing cruise on the Nile toward Kom Ombo.
Enjoy the peace granted by the river and contemplate the unique scenery that nature offers you. Spend the night onboard the Felucca.
Day 6: Visit Kom Ombo and Edfu by car
After your breakfast, you will be driven to visit god Sobek temple in Kom Ombo with your Egyptologist guide.
Next, you’ll walk your feet into the god Horus Temple in Edfu, which is known for its carefully crafted inscriptions & paintings of the god Horus, and well-preserved conditions that speak of ancient Egypt's daily life, religious rituals, and beliefs. From inside, imagine yourself standing in the temple’s huge hypostyle hall, along with the decorated small chapels and sanctuaries.
Later, you'll arrive at Luxor and be taken to the hotel for the overnight.
Day 7: Luxor West Bank/overnight Luxor
Following breakfast, you’ll start with the Valley of the Kings, a beautifully painted necropolis of Egypt’s great Pharaohs such as Tutankhamun, Ramses III, Seti I, and Tuthmosis III. You’ll witness the beautiful & colorful wall paintings that describe the ancient Egypt funerary rites, the story of the pharaoh, and help his soul on its journey to the afterlife.
Next, you’ll visit the great Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, which is an impressive crafted inside the limestone cliff necropolis that will surely capture your attention. The temple is characterized by its special integration with the surrounding landscape. From the inside, the walls are adorned with charming inscriptions and statues that depict Hatshepsut's reign, her divine birth, and religious rituals.
Later, you’ll stop by the Colossi of Memnon, two colossal statues of quartzite sandstone 60 feet tall that sit proudly guarding Amenhotep's memorial temple that once existed and disappeared due to floodings.
Finally, we'll head back to the hotel.
Day 8: Luxor East Bank / travel to Hurghada
Reach now the last Day of your tours in Luxor, visit the East bank to explore Luxor Karnak Temple.
For more than 2000 years, about thirty Pharaohs have contributed to the construction of the building, making it unique by its size, degree of elaboration, and diversity of styles.
After finishing the tour, you will travel to Hurghada and check in at your hotel.
Days 9 &; 10: Free day at your hotel in Red Sea
Enjoy the sun, sandy beaches, wonderful coral reefs relax or enjoy hustle in the nightlife before travelling back.
Day 11: Final Departure
Magic Carpet's representative will meet You and be escorted by a private air-conditioned vehicle to Hurghada International Airport for final departure.
