Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Egypte
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a representative from Magic Carpet will greet you and escort you to your hotel for an overnight stay.
During this time, you'll receive a concise overview of your itinerary and an introduction to Egyptian customs and traditions.
Day 2: Islamic and Coptic Cairo
Step back in time and explore the Citadel, a powerful fortress built in 1183 by Sultan Salah El-Dine to defend the city against the Crusader army. This historic site served as the residence of Egyptian rulers for centuries, and today it houses numerous mosques and museums.
Venture to the nearby Islamic complex of Sultan Hassan mosque, which encompasses both a mosque and a madrassa. Next door, marvel at the architectural beauty of El Rifai mosque, showcasing a harmonious blend of styles from different eras. As you wander through charming alleyways, you'll reach Al-Azhar, a renowned university that holds the distinction of being one of the oldest in the world.
Continue your journey along El Moez Street, a captivating thoroughfare lined with medieval monuments. This enchanting street will transport you to a bygone era, revealing the rich history and culture of Cairo.

Day 3: Giza Pyramids - Grand Egyptian Museum - Saqqara
After breakfast, discover the history of this amazing structure, which has yet to be revealed. Take in the breathtaking vista of the Pyramids rising out of Giza's golden sand from the Plateau.
It’s the moment to take pictures of your life! Before leaving the site, let’s greet Abu El Hol, the 3000 years old great Sphinx.
Next, head to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), located near the Giza Pyramids in Egypt, which is set to be the largest archaeological museum in the world dedicated to a single civilization. Spanning over 480,000 square meters, it will house a vast collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the complete tomb collection of Tutankhamun, showcased together for the first time. The museum's modern design, featuring a grand glass facade offering views of the pyramids, aims to blend Egypt's rich history with contemporary architecture. It serves as a new cultural hub, offering immersive experiences through advanced display techniques and interactive exhibits.
After lunch, continue your trip to the necropolis of Saqqarah.
Here you can admire the step pyramid of Djoser, the first time that the pyramidal shape was used to build a tomb, 4000 years ago.
In the evening we take the sleeper train to Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor - East bank
Upon arrival in Luxor, you'll be transported to your hotel for check-in. Afterward, embark on a scenic horse-drawn carriage ride to the magnificent Karnak Temple. Immerse yourself in the vastness of this ancient Egyptian temple, marveling at the vibrant engravings and hieroglyphs that adorn its walls. The temple's grandeur is a testament to the contributions of over thirty Pharaohs, showcasing a unique blend of architectural styles and meticulous craftsmanship.
Follow the path lined with sphinxes, leading you to the equally impressive Luxor Temple. As the sun dips below the horizon, the late afternoon light casts a golden glow on the ancient architecture, highlighting its splendor. Enter the temple through the imposing pylon of Ramses II, gazing upon his colossal statues and the towering obelisk. This sacred site was once the center of the annual Opet Festival, celebrating the union of Mut and Amun and the rebirth of their son.
The temple's unique character is further enhanced by the presence of a Roman chapel and a mosque, adding layers of historical significance.

Day 5: Luxor - West bank
Embark on an extraordinary journey to Luxor's West Bank, where history comes alive. Begin your adventure in the Valley of the Kings, a necropolis containing 63 royal tombs carved into the mountainside. Explore the most renowned tomb, that of King Tut, whose iconic golden mask is a highlight of the Egyptian Museum.

Continue your exploration at Hatshepsut's memorial temple, a stunning architectural masterpiece. The temple's imposing cliff face will instantly captivate your senses, with the building seemingly sculpted into the rock itself.
Within the temple, you'll encounter numerous statues and carvings with defaced faces. Your knowledgeable guide will shed light on the compelling history behind this intriguing phenomenon.
After an unforgettable day of discovery, you'll be comfortably transported back to your hotel, where you can unwind or embark on any optional activities that pique your interest.

Day 6: Travel to Al Quseir city
After bidding farewell to Luxor, we embark on a journey to the serene Red Sea, where we will spend the next two days. Our destination is El Quseir, a port city with a rich history, known for being one of the oldest in Egypt.
This was the point of departure for Queen Hatshepsut's expedition to the Land of Punt, and in medieval times, Egyptian pilgrims used to set sail from here on their journey to Mecca.
Upon arrival, we'll check into our hotel and enjoy relaxation and sunshine on the beach.

Day 7: El Quseir
Unwind on the warm sands and lose yourself in the captivating beauty of the Red Sea. Choose from a range of optional activities like snorkeling, diving courses, or camel rides to enhance your experience.
After lunch, journey back in time to the historic town of El Quseir, where you can explore the bustling souq market.
Later, indulge in delightful dinner.
Day 8: Al Quseir - Return back to Cairo
Start your day leisurely in El Qusier before boarding the bus back to Cairo.

Day 9: End of the trip
Your Royal family tour concludes here. You can choose to return home on your international flight or extend your Egyptian adventure by selecting from our personalized tour options.
